Terms & Service Policies

These policies explain estimates, payments, repairs, warranties, device pickup, data responsibility and other important service terms.

Last updated: July 2026

Agreement to These Terms

By submitting a repair request, approving an estimate, delivering or mailing a device to Hyper Blade Tech, or purchasing a product or service, the customer agrees to the policies listed on this page.

01

Inspection and Estimates

All repair requests begin with an inspection or diagnostic review. An initial online or verbal price is not a final repair price unless Hyper Blade Tech confirms it in writing.

Customers will receive an estimate before repair work begins. Additional work will not be performed without customer approval when the additional work materially changes the approved price.

02

Payment Policy

Full payment is required before a repaired device, refurbished product, replacement part or custom merchandise is released or shipped to the customer.

Special-order parts, custom orders and certain high-cost repairs may require a deposit before parts are ordered or work begins.

Deposits used to purchase special-order parts may be nonrefundable after the order has been placed.

03

Repair Authorization

Customer approval authorizes Hyper Blade Tech to perform the work described in the approved estimate and to open, inspect, test and service the device as reasonably necessary.

Some devices may have hidden damage, prior repair damage, corrosion, missing components or unrelated failures that are not visible during the initial inspection.

04

Parts and Availability

Repair completion times depend on part availability, shipping, device condition and the complexity of the repair.

Hyper Blade Tech may use new, aftermarket, refurbished or customer-approved replacement parts depending on availability and the approved estimate.

Estimated completion dates are not guaranteed.

05

Data and Password Responsibility

Customers should back up important files before service whenever possible. Hyper Blade Tech is not responsible for data loss caused by existing device failure, storage failure, corruption, malware, operating-system damage or conditions outside the repair being performed.

The customer is responsible for providing any password, PIN or access information reasonably needed to test the device. Customers should remove private information when possible before service.

06

Data Recovery

Data recovery is not guaranteed. Recovery results depend on the condition of the drive, storage device and existing data.

A successful recovery does not guarantee that the original drive or storage device will remain reliable after service.

07

Warranty Coverage

Qualifying hardware repairs may include a 90-day limited warranty. Qualifying software, cleaning and optimization services may include a 30-day limited warranty.

The repair ticket, estimate or receipt will identify the warranty period that applies to the completed service.

Warranty coverage applies only to the original repair performed by Hyper Blade Tech and the specific part or service listed on the repair record.

08

Warranty Exclusions

The limited warranty does not cover:

  • New accidental, impact or physical damage
  • Liquid exposure occurring after service
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or power surges
  • Damage caused by another repair provider
  • Unauthorized modifications or tampering
  • Unrelated future component failures
  • Damage caused by customer-supplied parts
  • Normal battery wear after the covered period
09

Customer-Supplied Parts

Hyper Blade Tech may decline to install a customer-supplied part. When installation is accepted, the customer assumes responsibility for the quality, compatibility and condition of that part.

Customer-supplied parts may not qualify for the same warranty as parts supplied directly by Hyper Blade Tech.

10

Mail-In Repairs

Customers are responsible for securely packaging mail-in devices. Hyper Blade Tech is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging before the device is received.

Return shipping charges may be added to the final invoice. Shipping delays and carrier handling are outside the direct control of Hyper Blade Tech.

11

Pickup and Abandoned Devices

Customers should pick up completed or unrepaired devices promptly after notification.

Devices left more than 30 days after the first completion or pickup notice may be subject to reasonable storage charges.

Devices left more than 90 days without payment, pickup arrangements or customer communication may be treated as abandoned where permitted by applicable law.

12

Cancelled or Unrepairable Devices

Diagnostic charges, labor already performed and special-order part costs may remain due if the customer cancels after work or ordering has begun.

If a repair cannot be completed, the customer remains responsible for any previously approved diagnostic fee, labor and nonreturnable part costs.

13

Refurbished Products and Merchandise

Refurbished devices are inspected and tested before sale. Any included warranty or return period will be identified on the receipt or product listing.

Custom apparel and personalized merchandise may not be returnable unless defective or materially different from the approved order.

14

Communication

Customers agree that Hyper Blade Tech may contact them by email, telephone or text regarding repair updates, estimates, approvals, pickup instructions and payment status.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information.

15

Limitation of Responsibility

Hyper Blade Tech is responsible only for services specifically approved and performed. Hyper Blade Tech is not responsible for unrelated existing defects, hidden damage or failures that occur independently of the completed service.

This page is a general business-policy template and is not legal advice. Hyper Blade Electronics, LLC should have its final policies reviewed for compliance with applicable Tennessee and local laws.
